What are your Drag Race hot takes? Your most controversial opinions?

That moment when I actually have so many hot takes but as soon as I got this ask suddenly I've forgotten them all... Took me a minute to remember some ogeruig I'll probably get hate for some of these since imma bring up some fan-faves, also these mostly have to do with the recent American seasons

The first one I could think of: the finale lipsync for the crown should have the queens all in a leotard or something basic. I'm tired of the reveals we can see coming from a mile away, I wanna see a good ol' lipsync

Jackie and/or Heidi should've won the Worlds Worst challenge [the one where Gigi was also in it and they were playing the Del Rio trio] rather than she who shall not be named.. she wasn't even funny or memorable in the challenge

Bob is the best winner imo

S13 was actually a good season but people were hating on it because of the first episode which was shitty and out of the queens control. Additionally, it aired the same time UK2 did and while I admit that season was good, people kept comparing the two and favoring one over the other and hating so much on s13

Kandy was right in the untucked fight with Tamisha. tbh she didn't do anything wrong in saying that Symone was her toughest competition bc by that point she'd won 2 challenges, it's not like she insulted the other girls and said 'fuck the rest of ya'll '

People hate on/criticize Jorgeous for winning that design challenge/the favoritism she gets from Ru that's completely out of her control and for doing bad in the challenges but... another queen that isnt even doing well is Jasmine too.. she's been in the bottom 2 more than Jorgeous has but I see people talk worse about Jorgeous.. idk..

Bosco's nun/succubus look wasn't that good

This isn't just a drag race hot take but a drag one in general, I rather go watch a queen that doesn't look as polished but puts on a fucking show and entertains rather than a queen that just looks pretty/polished and boring to watch

Tina's runway looks were bad but she didn't necessarily do bad in challenges, she didn't stand out either but she shouldn't have gotten as much hate as she did [i dont condone sending hate to anyone ofc, 'fans' who do that are horrible]

As much as I love Denali and Rosé, I'm glad neither of them won. Also made me super upset to hear from Kandy that in the end she didn't wanna win because of the amount of hate she knew she'd get if she did

ORIGINAL STORY LORE :

          Formed hundreds of lifetimes ago by powers unknown to humankind, the Elementals are human personifications of various elements found on earth. Their sole goal and purpose is to provide balance to the planet and rid it of violence, abominations against nature, and protect all humankind against forces that would seek to wipe them out – even if that turns out to be humankind themselves.

          Elementals appear human, even down to flowing blood and a heartbeat, but they do not age and they cannot die permanently unless killed by their Opposite. (Earth and Air are Opposites, while Water and Fire are Opposites). Because being immortal is an imbalance or abomination of nature, each Elemental has an Other. Others are a special kind of doppelganger for Elementals, born within each century of existence, that serve as a vessel for the Elemental power to flow through if an Elemental is killed by their Opposite. The Other would take over the Elemental's responsibilities and powers, but would still remain themselves; the soul of the previous Elemental is now gone forever, unless retrieved from the River of Death – but the Elementals do not know this information as of yet.

          The Death Elemental, commonly known as Thanatos, underwent a great loss when he was tricked into accidentally killing his Opposite of Life. She had found that, after several thousand years of existing as a human, it was too much for her, and she no longer wished to be alive. After he lost Kijana (Life), Thanatos was so distraught that he retreated into a spiritual world of his own creation, a place the Greeks called the Underworld, and he then began to purposely create creatures such as werewolves, succubus, vampires, sirens, incubus, wendigo and many others which were abominations against nature.

          Without Kijana to bring balance to his power, copious amounts of death overtook the world in the form of plagues, violence, and natural disasters, all perpetuated by these creatures of Thanatos' own creation. Once Kijana's Others become of age to properly take on the Elemental power, Thanatos seeks them out and kills them. Unless found early by the other Elementals and protected by them, every Other for Kijana is killed each century so that Thanatos can continue to spread violence and death throughout the world.

          Over the last few centuries, Thanatos has made his creatures more and more indistinguishable from humans, and the other Elementals can feel something coming to a head. They all must set aside their differences and find out what to do about Thanatos and his perpetual state of grief, as it very well could be the slow end of humankind.

PERSONAL HISTORY :

          As the last of the core elements to be formed (first was Earth, followed by Air, then Fire), Ryujin naturally takes on a younger, more naive role within the Elemental group. Those that came after her (Darkness, Light, Life, Death) she sees as her responsibility to teach and take care of, even though she has never been told to do so. Her counterparts of Air and Fire never check in on the younger elements, but Terran (Earth) helps her as much as he is able to, and thus they have formed a very close friendship over the millennia.

          Ryujin has also formed a close bond with her Opposite, Hakan, but in an entirely different way. The two have been lovers for a very long time, but because of Hakan's destructive and chaotic nature, he is almost always unfaithful. Ryujin insists that monogamy doesn't have to be the only option for them, but Hakan insists that he refuses to share her, that she is his and he is hers, but then proceeds to repeat the same cycle over and over again.

          One of his most grievous offenses against their relationship is going after Terran, whom he knows is very close with Ryujin. She never blames Terran for the offenses as she knows how manipulative Hakan can be, and Terran has never let it affect their friendship together. Currently, she and Hakan are not speaking, but she and Terran are.

BIOGRAPHY

( tw: death, suicide, murder, starvation ) If the devil had a daughter, in the Sokolov's he had bore two. Viktoria, the eldest, came upon the world with her teeth bared— she took to cruelty in the way that ink does a page. Vladislava was born second, and though just as gilded and fair, she was mischievous where her sister was as twisted and wicked as the branches of the hawthorn tree. Viktoria, or Vika as she preferred, the name spat out as sharp as she was— bloomed, standing tall and riddled with thorns. They were born in Kievan Rus', in a time where the country was still new, still cold, and still untamed. It was a suitable background for feral girls, who hungered for more of everything.

  It was Vika who called upon the gods. She had heard whispers and read pages that had been tucked away, as christianity began to dissolve the influence of the Slavic gods and the land of which she knew well began to shape and form under the pressures and pulls of war and greed of men. Their family's business was beginning to struggle and she was beyond a marry-able age, and their bellies began to feel the sharp pang of hunger for the first time. It was to Mokosh that she prayed to, begging the goddess of life-giving to bless them with a better life, to take her and her sister from suffering, at any cost. As her skirts dragged upon the hard packed earth and her words filtered into the ground, it was not the slavic deity that answered her pleading prayers, but that of the Greek pantheon. She had heard little of the gods that ruled over Greece, but this one was kind, offering out her hand to the two girls and pulling them up to wipe away dust and grime from their faces.

  They reminded her of someone, she had said, washing out their hair until it had gleamed golden. Her daughter, lost to darkness and prone to cruelty. Vika had been shocked at such a display of vulnerability, to learn that the gods mourned and that they felt loss just as deeply as those who walked the earth. Demeter was her name, and she ensured that there was bread for them to eat and grain for their livestock, but for the woman that had summoned her, it was scarcely enough. She wanted more, it was a fervent desire that beat within her at the same pace as her wicked heart.

  When the goddess had only Vika as her witness she told her of what she wished. She would belong to no one- neither man nor woman, and her life would be governed by nothing but herself. Demeter saw this blind ambition, the stubborn streak and it reminded her further of her daughter that she has lost to the Underworld but when she told Vika of the cost, she was all too eager to agree. Her soul was such a small bargaining chip for forever, and the goddess pressed a final kiss to her cheek and the deal had been made.

  The rest of her life mapped out in a way that was not extraordinary. Her sister Lada and herself did not see Demeter after, Vika never married, and never felt the crush or pressure to and when she died it was on her own terms— before a long life made her bones fragile and her skin paper thin, Vika Sokolov's mortal life ended in the same way that Shakespeare's Ophelia did, lost to the river.

  A promise from a goddess is one that is kept and death did not claim her for long. Vika rose and was reborn as something new, something wretched and powerful, soulless as a result of her bargain and hungry for that of others in return. The world watched as her cruelty unfurled like wings and asked of her what had made her so wretched— with eyes the colour of crystals, she bore teeth and responded in turn: it hurts to become. Like a blight upon the earth, Vika left her homeplace. Her sister, created by Demeter to become the same demon, was her constant sidelong companion and the two of them tore through what the world had to offer them, eating hearts that lay in the bloodied palms of those who tore them from their own chests to present to the pair.

  Years passed and her soul twisted black, whatever heart sat in Vika's chest turned to obsidian then shattered, piercing those around her as she became a being of fervent desire. She wanted everything, and she had it, roaming from city to city spitting her name as though it was a shard of glass, and taking what she wished. There was amusement to be had in horrors, there was beauty in the obscene. There were friends along the way, those who shared in her revelry, her Dionysian feast upon mortal pleasures and then did not turn their noses up at the sight of blood. Often, she was knee deep in it, with blonde curls plastered crimson to her— Vika Sokolov was something crawled from hell, only visible by the bright gleam of her immoral smile.

  All things that carry on this way are destined for a short and severe end. Her tracks were bloodied and purposeful, and for years the succubus made distinct, targeted attacks. Shifters were the most common, stealing their soul before ending their life, all whilst knowing that the simple act of them closing their teeth around her flesh would be her own damnation. She had grown older, and perhaps not wiser, seeking out unrest and trouble in major cities as the world grew smaller and less willing to overlook grisly murders. While Russia was her home, and she returned often, it was Paris that she met her end in.

  It was the sixties and there were whispers of trouble: nothing drew a cubi to a place quite like the promise of unjust death, and while politics raged on Vika went about her business, picking off shifters as though they were the weakened creatures on the outside of the pack. She wasn't subtle, their bodies were left in their beds— their throats were slashed with a thin blade, or if she felt compassionate enough, dumped lazily into the Seine. No longer was the cubi killing to survive, but rather just for sport and such a thing drew the attention of another supernatural creature that had been roaming the city as well. A fury, new and hungry for her own serving of vengeance.

  Dark eyes followed the cubi through the city, tracking her down as she went around her devilish business. The fight had been decisive from the beginning, Vika acted the part of a hissing street cat, but a cubi too used to surviving on wiles was no match for the strength and experience of a fury, and with a blow to the head, Vika's world blackened and slipped away. It was when she woke up in darkness that she realized what had happened. Rope bound her arms behind her back, and knotted tightly at her ankles, and from the tiniest sliver of light all she could see was that she was encased in a tomb of gleaming skulls. The fury had left her in the catacombs, where mine entrances had long been blocked off and abandoned— where light didn't touch and no one would find her.

  A cubi without souls to feed on begins to wither like a bloom left out in hot sun, colour leaches from bright petals and they begin to curl up into themselves, losing their vibrancy, growing sharp and skeletal as the entire thing becomes a hard, sharp skeleton. It was a slow process, a gnawing within that left her weakened, and sensitive to every amount of pain that wrought through a body left to enter rigor. Her mind remained active, though that too slowly began to unravel as days stretched. Like a loose thread snagged on a hook, she grew more animalistic and feral, hung on revenge and the last words that the fury had told her, a parting promise that despite whatever damnation she was bound for, Vika would be sure to spit back into the other woman's mouth.

  When death did finally come, it was not to the arms of Demeter that she was sent but rather the gates of Tartarus, flung inside to an eternity of torment.  An eternity seemed to span the duration of fifty years and the fragile tapestry of Vika's sanity unstitched itself further, Typhon formed monsters and Tartarus was their chrysalis, in the heat and the pain and the pressure she was pressed into something sharp and glittering: like coal into a diamond. It had happened all at once, the doors opening to the hellish cage that contained the former cubi and she, as starved and vicious as she was, rushed past those who clamored for an escape, clawing her way up and out of death's reach. There was a promise that she had made, a vow to break those that had broken her and now as she steps into what feels like a new world, it is the hot breath on her neck motivating her to surge forward.

See, I kind of stole vampire Edge and sex demon (known as 'succubus' by the original artist) Rus from an artist. Well. I didn't steal them—I was inspired by the art. So there's a bit of a disconnect. Vampire Edge has wings in the art...but I don't really refer to them in the fic.

So it's an aesthetic choice, just not my aesthetic choice. He can't fly. Rus can levitate, though.

SEAN: The Yen Press juggernaut is back.

Let's start with Yen. They have a couple manga debuts. Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai is the manga version of the popular light novel. This arc is a done-in-1 omnibus.

I Love You So Much I Hate You (Nikurashii Hodo Aishiteru) is an office romance yuri about two professional working women with a rivalry… or is it?

MICHELLE: I hope this is something kind of complicated, but I guess we shall see.

ASH: I do like that we're starting to see more yuri with adult characters.

MELINDA: Yes, I do too.

SEAN: I Don't Know How to Give Birth! (Shussan no Shikata ga Wakaranai!) is a comedic essay manga about the author struggling with her first-time pregnancy. It looks fun.

ASH: I'm super-curious about this one.

NPC'S thus far 05/20

EMERALD HARBOR

Mik - The Lacohtah fisherman that saved us from the pirates that initially captured all of us. He took us in his boat to Emerald Harbor. Cyrus and Mullus tipped him.

Gorregar - a dragonborn hunter that we did some work for on the outskirts of Emerald Harbor. We saved some bovine creatures of his that were going missing due to some snakes. His "friend" Darren helped us out, a human archer. Darren traveled with us to the Copper Hills and helped us kill the snakes. We later encountered the two of them totally platonically camping between Emerald Harbor and Astandras. We camped with them.

Wither - a tiefling warlock (rogue?) who worships the All-mother now but formerly made a deal with something called the Night Terror. Unknown if it is a demon or a devil. Wither has a secret relationship with the Mayor that resulted in a child. This is secret, the public only knows ____ as Narissa's ward. Wither has tension with Cyrus because he is under the impression that Cyrus is attracted to his daughter. Wither doesn't seem to mind Eliana as much -- from insight check.

Mayor Narissa Brightbane - Mayor to Emerald Harbor. She was captured by Aligar's Claw shortly after we arrived, and the city was locked down because of this. We have spoken with her multiple times since. She has secured permanent lodging for us at the Fortune's Wheel in town, and also allowed Cyrus to receive a hefty discount on his plate armor.

Pseudoris - The ward of the mayor, and Wither's unclaimed child. We first met her strung up in a tree between Emerald Harbor and Timberrest. We returned her home safely, and Eliana made a request that she be trained properly so that she would be able to protect herself the next time she gave the guards the slip. A kind but naive girl, with decent intentions and loose lips.

Guard Captain Morqrin - Oversees Emerald Harbor. A dragonborn that we have spoken to and done good work for. He is the one who assigned us to go meetup with Wither in the Green Wood at the Raven's Crossing (a small shrine to Crall) and save the mayor. He also tasked us with taking out a band of pirates in a cove.

Grub Grub- The goblin banker that handles Eliana and Mullus' money in Emerald Harbor. She has only encountered and dealt with him once.

Headmaster Orlain Nadruith - The headmaster of Lochran college.

Barrigg - The dwarf innkeeper for the Fortune's Wheel, where we have permanent rooms as the Heroes.

TIMBER REST

Mayor Verna Tailwind - The mayor of Timber Rest, a halfling that we spoke to only briefly. She was kind and a little distressed with so many being displaced in her city, but took time to speak with us all.

Sheriff Tahm - The sheriff of Timber Rest, a very tall halfling. He was very grumpy and displeased. We did not speak for very long. He was busy at the time moving people that had arrived from Emerald Harbor to go to the next town over called Revakom.

Shavon - The innkeeper of the only inn in town The Dryad'd Rest. There was a brown bear that was in the foyer the first time that we arrived. Later it turned out to be a man. (Druid or wear-bear?)

ASTANDRAS

Mayor Neslin - A dragonborn that had a notice about devils infesting his home. This turned out to be much more. There was a tunnel that lead to a temple under his home. This temple belonged to Isaka. Everything was resolved, and Cyrus and Mullus were paid for the work. Eliana had remained behind in Emerald Harbor.

Perris - The dragonborn cleric that assisted us in clearing out the temple under Mayor Neslin's home. We did not speak much, nor do we know much about him. We parted ways shortly after working this job together.

REVAKON

Tim - a random guard that Eliana flirted with briefly, and warned about some of the dangers of the black goo that she found. He was very interested in her advances.

Ves - the only scholar remaining at the revakon branch. Kind of incompetant, skittish, but nice enough. Informed the group that the other members had gone missing due to some teleportation circle issues and never returned.

Crazy Caith - Went mad due to the black goo. Was forced to dig by some unknown entity. Later when talking with Mul, it is inferred that Isaka is obsessed with this, and potentially enlisted Caith or others in her quest. Caith was left in Ves' care and was much more manageable after she had Dispel Magic cast upon her.

Orinna - Owns the stables in town. Has a FAT crush on Ves, and was easily manipulated through this knowledge. Gave us 2 riding horses for 40 gold total.

Odd & End - Two tiefling sisters that run an exotic shop that primarily sells beasts.

YUVONJUNAAR

Ilani - the maid that escorted us to our room. also provided a little intel on Master Gar. She seemed attracted to Eliana, but she did not press on this issue.

Queen Gursira - Very impressed with the group's deeds on saving Mayor Brightbane. Tasked us with stopping in the town of Moonrise and checking in on them. Gave Eliana the scroll of Sending to ease communication, and also it was hinted that Eliana had a reward other than gold in mind for doing these favors. Eliana was very embarrassed by Cyrus' antics, but the Queen seemed unbothered.

Master Gar - A dragonborn that acts as council to the queen. Foreign affairs and potentially war chief. He spoke with her all throughout the feast, and only seemed interested when Aligar's claw was brought up. Very suspicious. Described as attractive by the maid.

Mellany- The name(?) of the succubus that ensnared the town, and forced them to fall asleep. Said something about the Night Terror?

Captain Cheep - The name of Mullus' old captain of the ship the Scarlett Crow.

KHEGO

Yerdek - Cyrus' prior master. Met only momentarily, while he was under the influence of Mull. Edan killed him at Mull's bidding. His corpse was burned in Khego.

Mayor Henaar - Wife was Susadi. He felt as though he was being haunted by her. We agreed to lay her to rest for him and did so, receiving her blessing.

Mariel Nobeloak - Paladin of Crall. Went missing after going on a mission with Yerdek. We found her corpse within the desecrated temple to Mull.

Christophe Nobeloak - Human cleric of Lochran. We had a mutual agreement. He would assist us in return for us finding his "sister" Mariel.

DURFALAAS

Sheriff Anthron - A halfling sheriff of Durfalaas. He arranged a celebratory return for us, and negotiated our payment for taking care of Vulgrum.

Perriwick - A halfling that initiates the pit fights in the Spotted Horse tavern. He invited Mullus and Cyrus to participate.

Thana - A human traveler with a passion for stories. She has a magical floating book that she writes in often. She seems to like Mullus. She took place in the Treal Celebratory races on her Axebeak "Stinkerton Von Smellingham the 3rd".

Bribar Vulgrum - A lich that built his tower on a nearby mountain by Durfalaas. We found his spellbook and library of knowledge whilst under contract with Garrin. We murdered his partially animated corpse and destroyed his locket phylactery.

Pyrrus Dralkeadirros (Pronounced like: Pie-Rus) - the mayor of the town

Thardistar - Mayor of this town.

The Golden Blade - Inn/Tavern in town. Ran by crystal golems.

Sheriff Arfisk - The sheriff in town. Informed Cyrus of the missing people.

Walda - The frail old man that is in charge of enchanting Eliana's Hairpin of Nondetection. It will take 20 days. So far 0 have passed.

TRAVELERS

Rahaakin - a traveling sorcerer that makes/sells potions. We first met him on the way back from Timber Rest headed towards Emerald Harbor. He purchased a gimick-y necklace off of Cyrus that we found in the pirate cove that we cleared out. He purchased it from him for an exorbitant price, but myself and Mullus both purchased potions after the fact. We later encountered Rahaakin again becuase he had purchased the staff that had been stolen from Isaka's temple. Unbeknownst to Eliana, a fake was created and given to the fly demon, and Rhaakin worked with his master to accomplish this.

N - A travelling bard that we have now met multiple times. We first met him by the pirate cove, where he assisted us in clearing it out. He is quite mysterious, and through an insight check, Eliana learned that his motives are less than pure or noble. He may be stealing from others whilst performing? He was last seen by us in Yuvonjanaar, playing during the feast.

Noodles - A travelling goblin gambler. She has multiple games that we have played, and because of her, Eliana was able to get her hands on a scroll for Revivify. Cyrus had won it off of her, and had graciously given it to Eliana.

Silveros -  Elf, male, missing an eye, blond, tall, skinny, we are currently under orders to search for him in the Labyrinth of Lochron as he was to investigate what was making the circles malfunction.

Aki - A demon succubus that we first encountered in Moonrise. She has helped us on multiple fronts. She teleports us often to the Evergloom to dispatch of the Pillars.

Clan Kamraush - Dragonborn mercenary band that we met and made camp with in the woods.

Raven - Drow sorceress that we found within the Evergloom. She returned with our party. She suffered memory loss while she traveled with us briefly, we fought the Hydra together. I cast Greater Restoration upon her, and she seemed suspicious. She parted ways from us in the Port of Bellbay before Khego.

Tybalt - Dragonborn Paladin of Crall in Wistwood

Mauraders of the Deep - A band of pirates with a shark jaw flag of Sekogin

Vernes Uborath - Charybdis' champion. His ship crashed near the Seaborne lighthouse near Bodek's Landing. Mullus is attempting to find him.

Cause like Schez is really awkward n solitary n I can relate to not being able to connect with others well n his rivalry with say stems from his want to siphon @rles power so not only would I have the entertaining job of getting him to **fucking stop** but he'd probably see some latent ability in me n that's fun to think about!

How would the UF and SF bros react to their S/O coming home later than usual, carefully carrying a bundle of cloth, and smiles at him when they notice their Bonefriend, then pulls the cloth back to show them a tiny sleeping baby skeleton, and says, "I found them by the River and there wasn't anybody around, so I decided to keep them. Aren't they just completely adorable~?"

Underfell

Red-

"jeez babe, why'd you come in so late-… i-is that what ithink it is?"

He looked cautiously at the bundle of bones, his soul racingin his chest.

You smiled. "I found them by the River and there wasn'tanybody around, so I decided to keep them. Aren't they just completelyadorable~?"

The baby stirred in its sleep, startling Red. He looked backup at you and was about to drop the news that this place wasn't necessarily thesafest place to raise a child.

But then he stopped.

Looking at your bright doe eyes, he could've sworn he fellin love again. That maternal aura you now held was quite alluring and I mean,you guys have been together for a while now…

"erm, y-yeah? they're adorable, sweetheart," Red leaned incloser to the babybones and his expression softened. "heh. the kid kindareminds me of the boss."

"Sooooo, we're raising them, right?" You asked, hopeful.

Red sighed heavily, gently taking the sleeping skel fromyour arms. "w-well I mean, we can't just leave 'em, right?," The babyboneslooked so at peace, the sight reminding Red of past Papyrus' innocence. "sodoes the little guy have a name, or what?"

Edge-

"WHERE WERE YOU, S/O?!? I WAS WORRIED SICK! WHO KNOWS WHAT PARLOUSCREATURES WERE OUT THERE TRYING TO KILL YOU!!"

He doesn't even notice the bundled bones you have, until youstart to shush the sleeping child. "Oh no- sh sh… its okay, love," You shootEdge a glare, knowing full well that his voice had startled the baby. "Daddydidn't mean to scare you."

He looked at you like you had just proclaimed that you werea flying narwhal. "WHAT?!" Edge burned a bright red as he gawked at you with anagape jaw.

You jerk your forefinger to your lips and shush once more. "Ifound them by the River and there wasn't anybody around, so I decided to keepthem. Aren't they just completely adorable~?" You cooed quietly, lookingfrom the baby to Edge gleefully.

Edge took a step closer and peered at the child. "WELL, ISUPPOSE THE CHILD POSESSES ADEQUATE BONE STRUCTURE," His finger caressed thesleeping baby's cheek. "AND I GUESS THEY ARE KIND OF…A-ADORABLE."

You beamed at his vague yet hope-provoking answer. "I know,right? They look a lot like you."

Edge looked from the child to you contemplatively. "VERYWELL THEN, S/O. CONSIDER THIS CHILD OURS. WE SHALL SEE TO IT THAT THEY THRIVEIN EVERYTHING THEY DO!"

"Shh! They're sleeping, remember?"

"A-AH…SORRY."

Swapfell

Blackberry-

"S/O!! HOW DARE YOU STAY OUT SO LATE!? I THOUGHT MUFFET HADYOU SERVED ON A SILVER PLATTER ALREADY!! I EVEN GOT MY SPECIAL ATTACK READY FORTHAT SPIDER SUCCUBUS AND EVERYTHING!!"

"Shut up! I'm fine," You whisper-yelled, defensively holdingthe bundle close to your chest. "The baby's asleep."

Blackberry's face recoils with confusion. "WHAT BABY?"

You shush him once more, now calmer as you pull the clothoff the sleeping babybones. "I found them by the River and there wasn't anybodyaround, so I decided to keep them. Aren't they just completely adorable~?"

He eyed the sleeping baby nervously. "THAT'S A SKELETON."Blackberry said more as an observation, rather than a question.

"You're keen as always, love."

"DON'T PATRONIZE ME, S/O."

"Alright alright," You sigh, caressing the baby's cheeklovingly. "So we're keeping 'em, right?"

"WELL, WHAT ELSE WOULD WE DO WITH IT?"

You eyebrows crinkle. "They're not an 'it', babe."

"I KNOW, I KNOW…IT'S JUST…" He starts to trail off, which isnever a good sign.

"What is it?"

"C-CAN I NAME THEM?" He asked, hopeful.

You giggle and nod. Sometimes, Blackberry could be such anon-pain in the neck.

"LUCIFER IS SUCH A NICE-"

"N o." Okay, you take that back. Blackberry was indeed apain in the neck, but he was YOUR pain in the neck.

Rus-

"m-master! is that you? oh thank goodness. i was so worried!"

You step inside, keeping the babybones close to you. "Ididn't mean to worry you, love."

Rus sighed lovingly. "s'alright, master," He looks curiouslyat the bundle in your arms. "what didya bring home?"

You look from him to the baby. "Hm? Oh them!" Peeling theblanket off the bundle of bones, the baby's head is revealed.  "Ifound them by the River and there wasn't anybody around, so I decided to keepthem. Aren't they just completely adorable~?"

Rus takes a big gulp, putting his hands together as if hewere praying. "oh, that's nice." He says meekly.

And with that, he nonchalantly faints.

You gasp. "Rus!"

Yeah…thiswas the shocker of the century for the poor skel. But don't worry! He loveschildren. This just so happened to be out of the blue, and Rus is not one forsurprises. Expect for plentiful apologies and paternal skelekisses from yourbonefriend. He loves you and his new child.

I was thinking about a thing theses days : Swaptypical. Where everything is the "same" except the papyruses switch their "species". Like. Dragon Cash ? Werewolf Edge ? Spirit Rus ? Succubus Pup ? Vampire Papyrus ?? I'm sorry I just. Love all the possibilities.

Ooh, man…. That's certainly intriguing. I love those possibilities too. (Especially dragon Cash. It's so appropriate. If I'd had all 6 of them when I started writing for this 'verse, Cash probably would have been my first choice for dragon.)

Man…I really love this. It's especially intriguing to consider how their relationships and personalities would change too. Because Edge would likely have much better control over his wolf, so he wouldn't be as anxious. And Pup as a sex demon is somehow kind of sad and adorable—he'd be so nervous about trying to seduce anyone! Or what if—Pup as a forest spirit? I'm kind of in love with him as a forest god. I really am.

That's really just way too much fun to play around with. If anyone has anything they want to add, please feel free. This is a fun 'what-if' scenario, and I'm more than happy to play around with it. My ask box is wide open.
